Syrian anti-terror forces kill five terrorists
Syria, Local, 9/5/2005
Syrian anti-terror forces raided a hideout of a terrorist group belonging to a terrorist organization called "Jund al-Sham" in Hama, northwest Syria, yesterday evening, an official source at the interior ministry announced Saturday.
"A clash took place between our forces and the terrorists during which all five members of the group were killed and two security men were wounded," the source said.
The source clarified that the terrorist group had taken an isolated house, in Jibrin village, as a base for their operations.
"Our forces found in that place weapons, bombs and explosives belonging to that group," the source added. The group was about to carry out terrorist attacks to destabilize security and stability of the Syrian society, the source said.
