Arabs reject relations with Israel until full withdrawal
Regional-Israel, Politics, 9/3/2005

Arab League Secretary General's Advisor Hesham Youssef said Thursday that "Israel is not worthy of the move which Pakistan has taken to hold diplomatic communications with it," adding that the Israeli government didn't make any concessions in return for this move.

"The Arab stance still rejects to hold any relations with Israel without implementing international relevant resolutions which call for the Israeli full withdrawal from the occupied Arab lands from the line of June 4th, 1967," Youssef added in a statement.

Meanwhile, Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmad Abul Gheit underlined that "the continuation of Israeli settlement in the occupied Palestinian lands and building the racial separation wall create an atmosphere of non-confidence between the two sides and lead to retreating opportunity of resuming political dialogue between them."

Abul Gheit sent several messages to the Quartet Committee's foreign ministers and their counterparts of Britain, France, Germany, Spain and UN Secretary General in which he calls for "intensifying efforts to ensure that the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza is followed by taking positive measures to create a suitable atmosphere to resume the peace process."
