Turkish peace association expresses support to Iraqi resistance

Turkish Peace Association stressed Thursday support and solidarity with Iraqi armless people who have been facing the US occupation. On the occasion of peace international day, the association sent many letters to 10 Iraqi areas as Baghdad, Basra and Najaf in which it stressed Turkish people' support to the Iraqi national resistance, SANA reported.
"One of 1st September meanings is to let the Iraqi people know that they are not alone and they will deter the occupation for sure," an official in the association told SANA.
