BBC: Qandil testifies before UN investigation committee
Lebanon-UN, Politics, 9/1/2005

Former Lebanese Member of Parliament expressed fear over the possibility of the presence of international and intelligence parties that aimed at hindering the job of the UN Investigation Committee into the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri.

Qandil, who was summoned by the Committee, returned home Wednesday after the Committee heard his testimony, Qandil's Press Office said. In a statement to the BBC Radio, Qandil added that he will not hesitate to cooperate with the international committee which he described as neutral.
