$335 million worth of trade volume with Lebanon

The volume of trade exchange between Egypt and Lebanon has increased to $335 million in 2004. Egyptian exports to Lebanon is estimated to have reached $295 million, up $131.5 million. Meanwhile Egyptian imports from Lebanon amount to $ 70 million, said head of the Egyptian-Lebanese Business Association's (ELBA) Fathallah Fawzy.
Lebanese investments in Egypt has gone up to LE2.3 billion, Fawzy said, noting that ELBA is in the process of implementing a program which seeks to boost joint investments and increase bilateral trade between the two states.
