Syria opens consulate in Turkish Gazi Antep province

Opening the Syrian consulate in Turkish Gazi Antep Province is a positive step that facilitates lots of procedures for Turkish businessmen as well as contributes in developing the Syrian-Turkish bilateral relations, Head of the Executive Board in Gazi Antep Chamber of Commerce said Sunday.
"Now businessmen in South and Southwest Turkey can easily get visas to Syria," Mohammed Aslan noted in a press conference.
He expressed hope that the Syrian step will be an introduction for similar initiatives by all Arab states, indicating that "communications are going on for that purpose particularly with Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon and Gulf countries."
