36 unidentified bodies found in Kout, Iraq

The Iraqi ministry of interior said that it found 36 bodies who have not been identified thrown in a small river in Oreida area east of al-Kout city.
A source in the ministry said that the corpses are for men in civilian cloths whose hands were tightened to plastic and iron chains and were shot in the head.
For his part, a spokesman for the American army said that 40 persons were at least killed including 13 police members and one American soldier in the attacks launched by veiled gunmen in al-Jame quarters and al-Khaleda in Baghdad on Wednesday.
In another development, the Iraqi police said that two members of the personal guard for the Iraqi president Jalal al-Talibani were killed and other seven injured in one attack launched by unidentified gunmen at the presidential procession in al-Azeem area north of Baghdad. Talibani was not in the procession which was heading from Karkouk to Baghdad.
Other 6 Iraqis were killed in Baqouba and other 6 were injured when unidentified men opened fire at people aggregation. The police said that one man working in Huseineyeh was killed when gunmen opened fire at him.
