Keer does not rule out Garang assassinated
Sudan-Uganda, Politics, 8/26/2005
Sudan's Vice President, leader of the Sudan Peoples Liberation Movement, Sylva Keer, has not ruled out and for the first time the possibility that his predecessor John Garang was killed deliberately in the plane crash in southern Sudan by the end of July that ended his life.
The Sudanese dailies quoted Keer as saying that there are three possibilities on reasons behind the crash of Garang's plane: bad weather conditions; human error, or explosives placed in the plane which took off from Entebbe airport in Uganda. Keer did not accuse any side, noting that he is waiting for the results of the current investigations.
