Continued killing in Iraq

With continued stumbled attempts to formulate the Iraqi constitution, the security situation in Iraq has been witnessing great deterioration as the Iraqi minister of justice secretary Osho Ibrahim survived a second attempt assassination within 24 hours.

Gunmen implanted an ambush for the procession of Ibrahim and opened bullets at it in al-Adel ( justice) quarters west of Baghdad and this resulted in killing four of his personal guards and injuring other five.

The Iraqi police announced the killing of three Iraqi security men and injuring other three including one army officer, one woman and one child in various attacks in Baghdad and its south.

In Baqouba northeast of Baghdad, a center for the Iraqi rapid deployment forces was attacked by mortar shelling that resulted in injuring seven persons.
