1st real-estate investment forum opens in Damascus

A number of large companies, Arab and foreign businessmen and businesswomen are to participate in the 1st Real-Estate Investment Forum, set for August 28 Ð30 in Damascus.
In a statement to SANA on Tuesday, General Director of the Syrian Real-Estate Establishment Mua'taz al-Homsi pointed out that his institution is careful to make the forum a success and to offer all needed facilities to the participating companies.
For his part, the tourist expert with the UN Serg Nader said there is an 'organic link' between real-estate investments and tourist projects, adding that when selecting a geographic site to build a real-estate investment, it should be attractive because tourist projects supports real-estate development.
