Qabbani describes his meeting with president Assad as fruitful

Lebanon's Grand Mufti Sheikh Mohammed Rashid Qabbani has described his meeting with President Bashar al-Assad as fruitful.
In a statement to Lebanese al-Safir newspaper published today, Qabbani said we stressed the national and pan-Arab principles of Dar al-Fatwa "which emerge from the deep-rooted ties between Syria and Lebanon and based on the historical, geographical and social relations, as well as the joint interest between the two countries."
