Algeria wants good relations with Morocco
Algeria-Morocco, Politics, 8/22/2005

The Algerian President Abdul Aziz Butaflika called in a message he sent to the King of Morocco Muhammad VI for establishing "brotherly and remarkable relations" between the two states whose relations have been damaged because of the western Sahara issue.

The Moroccan news agency quoted Butaflika as saying in the message that Algeria "has determined to continue cooperation with Morocco and work for boosting relations between the two sisterly countries in order to build the greater Arab Maghreb." Morocco welcomed the calls for reviving dialogue between Algiers and Rabat in order to find out a solution for the Western Sahara crisis especially after the release of the last 404 Moroccan prisoners seized by the Polisario front.
