Egypt, Turkey tackles future electricity cooperation

Egypt's Ministers of electricity and energy in 7 states will discuss next November the technical and trade feasibility studies of a seven-way power linkage project between Egypt, Turkey, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and Libya, said Minister of Electricity and Energy Hassan Yunis on Thursday during his meeting with his Turkish counterpart Hilmi Guler.
The Syrian-Turkish linkage and how it can be used to serve electricity transfer between Egypt and Turkey was also tackled by the two ministers.
