Syria - Iraq Remote Sensing science cooperation

Syria's Remote Sensing Commission and Iraqi University of Anbar signed on Thursday a scientific cooperation memo with the aim of creating cooperation this area.
The memo stipulates for the commission to organize different levels training courses to for specialists from the Iraqi University on remote sensing technologies and assistant in sciences, as well carrying out joint projects in field of supervision and combating desertification and studying groundwater.
Both sides agreed on facilitating usage of each other's labs, equipment and the available technologies, in addition to the joint supervision on higher studies researches in addition to offering the possible assistant for performing the applicable research.
Participation of both sides researchers in the scientific symposiums and conferences as well exchanging of periodical printings published by the two sides were agreed upon.
