International Youth and Student Festival support Arab rights

The recommendations of the 16th International Youth and Student Festival, which concluded meetings in Caracas, Venezuela, overnight focused on solidarity with the Arab people to restore their occupied lands in Palestine, Golan and Lebanon.

The final statement called for finding means of cooperation among the world peoples through activating youth and students movements in a way that achieves development, peace and justice in the world.

The Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez talked in the Anti-Imperialism Court formed by the Festival about the American interference in his and other countries affairs, holding the USA responsible for the late coup d' etate in his country.

The participants in the festival condemned the American administration's policy that aimed at controlling the resources of the world.

The Syrian work paper stressed the international and right principles, asserting that Syria is one of the pioneer countries that called for combating terrorism and to hold an international conference to distinguish between terrorism and the national resistance.
