al-Thawra: Marathon to support Golan prisoners in Israeli jails

Syria's Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in cooperation with Areeba telecommunication establishment sponsored the marathon "Syria Heart of Humanity" which aims at supporting the Syrian prisoners in Israeli jails.

In a statement published Wednesday by al-Thawra newspaper, Manager of the Public Relations at Areeba, Fares Kallas, said the marathon aims at supporting the prisoners and their families and easing pressures imposed on them through fund-raising campaigns.

To help this event there are two methods, the Manager added, first to kick off a new service by sending short mobile messages that enable the contributors to donate as they desire for the Committee for the Support of Syrian Prisoners in Israeli Jails, and the second is to directly collect donations, minimum S.P 50, at the center of the campaign in the presence of a representative of the Ministry.
