Jewish settler burns herself protesting removal of Israeli settlers

The process of evacuating the settlers of Gaza who refused the clear out the settlements voluntarily continued under protests and fights by some settlers who were taken by the occupation soldiers away from houses established on lands confiscated from the Palestinians in 1967.
The occupation forces detained several extremists settlers who sneaked to Gaza settlements in order to obstruct withdrawal from there.
Meantime, the Israeli police said that one of the woman settlers, an emigrant from Russia, that arrived recently in Israel, burnt herself near Ofakim south of Israel, several kilometers from occupied Gaza in protest over the Israeli withdrawal.
A high ranking Israeli official said on Wednesday that the government made sure of evacuating four settlements voluntarily in Gaza. The settlements are Doughit, Nisanith north of Gazaq, Bdouleh, and Baat Sedeh in Ghoush Katif settlement south of Gaza while Slaaf settlement in the same complex seemed almost empty.
On Wednesday also, the Israeli security forces evacuated five settlements which are Nefe Dekalim, the largest settlement in Gaza, Mourag and Ghani Taal, Beidoulah and Tel Qteifah, all of them are in Ghoushe Katif settlement.
