Mubarak: Israelis need to follow Gaza disengagement with Roadmap implementation

President Hosni Mubarak said Israeli withdrawal from Gaza Strip and four settlements in the northern West Bank should to be just a first step to be followed by other moves towards establishment of an independent and viable Palestinian state in accordance with the internationally-backed Roadmap Peace Plan.
Speaking in an interview granted to Israeli Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, to be published on Friday, the President said the Israeli withdrawal has to go hand and hand with a tangible improvement in the Palestinians' daily life.
