Berri underscores Syrian-Lebanese relations

Speaker of Lebanese Parliament Nabih Berri said Monday that Lebanon and Syria share one political and geographical area, and their stance is similar toward the Arab-Israeli conflict and international pressures.
He expressed fear that the Israeli defeat in Gaza might have repercussions on Lebanon in general and the south in particular, saying that the situation underlines once again the importance of national unity and solidarity.
