Adli: Security authorities arrest main suspects in Sharm bombings
Egypt, Local, 8/15/2005

"Security authorities have succeeded in finding substantial clues to last month's Sharm el-Sheikh bombings," Egypt's Interior Minister Habib el-Adli said Sunday.

Addressing university students in Helwan, Adli said police listed those behind the attacks and hunted down the main elements that masterminded and carried out the attacks.

The full details will be announced when investigations are completed, he said.

Adli said some extremists have managed to influence the thoughts of some youths especially those who lack knowledge, experience within the low-income categories of the society and prompted them to carry out terrorist operations.

He said that his ministry was working to improve the performance of its security men and to get them to apply the principles of human rights.
