Syrian oil company comes first among Shell partners

International Shell Group of energy and petrochemicals companies recently evaluated Al-Furat for Oil company in Syria as the best and first among companies sharing with Sell in the field of production and modern technology use.

"This result, which al-Furat company has achieved, is a source of pride for every employee. It will increase their rush to exert all expertise and efforts as to keep it in frame of maintaining the utmost outcome of our oil wells and with less expense," Chairman of al-Furat board Abdullah Abul Rahman told SANA.

Experts in the field of oil have concluded that al-Furat company for oil is meeting the conditions for an ideal production in a way that it is equal to IRA company which is the best in field of excavation and production in the world.

The evaluation of the Syrian company was among 14 joint companies with Sell represented in 25 productive groups.

The announcement came during an general meeting for Shell representative in London, and as a result of the what the US Marshal institution has made of companies performance that scanned five regions in the world.

For his part, director of fields operations at al-Furat company, Zouhair Bashour, said the result came due to the company superiority in rotational maintenance operations for oil equipments and its serious follow up and dependence on the local market in manufacturing needed spare parts.

More than 1300 Syrian experts were qualified at the international level in 4 years and 50 foreign experts were dispensed with.
