Three Iraqis killed including police colonel

Three Iraqis including one police colonel were killed Tuesday at the hands of unidentified gunmen in two separate attacks in Baghdad, according to a source in the Iraqi ministry of the Interior.

The source which asked to remain anonymous said that armed gunmen opened fire on Tuesday at colonel Muzhir Hamad Youssef, the officer in the Abu Ghreib police center, and killed him instantly.

The source added that unidentified armed men opened fire at two employees working at the ministry of finance, a one driver and the guard for the general inspector at the ministry, and killed them in al-Jihad area.
