Siniora in Damascus on Sunday

Lebanese prime minister Foaud Siniora will head tomorrow to Damascus in his first official visit on the one hand, and in the first political contact between the factions he represents and the Syrian leadership since the assassination of Rafiq al-Hariri, on the other.

This visit comes after an expected approval by the parliament to the government in light of the ministerial statement and the reply of the prime minister to interventions set parliamentarians due today Saturday evening.
