New attack in Baghdad today, Musil dead reach 40

The Iraqi police said that a least one Iraqi was killed and two others injured when one blast went off on the roadside targeting one American military vehicle in al-Doura quarters in Baghdad.

Meantime, the Jordanian embassy in al-Mansour quarters in the center of Baghdad was exposed to fire from gunmen today morning. But no casualties were reported.

In another development, the bodies of three persons were found with their eye bounded and shot to death in al-Amel quarters area in the capital. The Iraqi police said that the killed persons were employees at Baghdad's International Airport.

This coincided with the announcement that the number of the victims of the suicide bombing near the Syrian- Iraqi borders on Friday increased to 40, while other 57 were reported injured.

On Friday the American army said that the gunmen killed two marine soldiers raising the number of Americans killed this week to 11 including 9 in clashes with gunmen.
