Rumsfeld urges finishing the constitution

The US defense secretary Donald Rumsfeld stressed after his meeting with the Iraqi President Jalal al-Talibani and the prime minister Ibrahim al-Jafaari the need of rejecting any interference by the side of Damascus and Tehran in Iraq's affairs, and called for building on the current momentum to finish writing the constituion before the August 15 deadline.
Rumsfeld said. "It is very important for the Iraqis to work with their neighbors to see that their behavior, especially Syria and Iran, improves."
