Rasheed: Egypt, Malaysia probe economic cooperation

Egypt's Minister of Foreign Trade and Industry Rasheed Mohamed Rasheed Tuesday held talks with a number of Malaysian officials for talks on boosting the bilateral relations.
The two sides touched on means for Egypt to benefit from Malaysia's experience to develop small and medium enterprises especially in the electronics industry.
According to Malaysian figures, the trade balance weighed in favor of Kuala Lumpur by 335 million dollars in 2004.
Egypt got 365 million dollars' worth imports against 30.8 million dollars' worth exports to the Asian economic giants.
