Egypt highlights Syria for position on terror attacks
Syria-Egypt, Politics, 7/26/2005
Syria's Information Minister Mehdi Dakhlallah yesterday received a thankful cable from his Egyptian counterpart Anas al-Fiqi expressing a gratitude to the Ministry of information and to "Syria's people over the noble stance of canceling broadcasting festival on the Syria's TV Day," because of terror attacks on Sharm al-Sheikh.
"The cable comes in solidarity with the Egyptian people as a result of the terrorist attacks which happened recently in Sharm al-Sheikh and in terms of Syria's condemnation of such offensive terrorist acts," the cable said. Al-Fiqi prayed God to protect the "two Syrian-Egyptian sisterly countries and the Arab and Islamic countries together the whole world from evils of these terrorist acts."
