Galloway on the Syrian-Lebanese relations
Lebanon-UK, Politics, 7/25/2005

British Member of Parliament George Galloway has called on the Lebanese people to reject foreign pressure that target the Syrian-Lebanese relations.

During the celebration marking "July 23rd Revolution in Egypt" on Saturday that was held by the Pan-Arab Conference in Lebanon, Gallawi said "Syria is exposed to foreign pressure because she represents the last castle of the Arab dignity and the Arab rights."

Galloway condemned London's terrorist explosions, and denounced the crimes that have been committed in Iraq and in Palestine.

For his part, Secretary General of the Pan-Arab Conference Ma'n Bashour stressed the Syrian-Lebanese distinguished relation.

For his part, Deputy Chairman of the Pan-Arab Conference Sacine Assaf condemned the foreign interference in Lebanon's internal affairs, asserting the Syrian-Lebanese unity in facing the standing challenges that threaten Syria and Lebanon.
