One killed, several injured in Beirut explosions

One persons was killed and others injured in an explosion that took place on Friday evening in Mono street in al-Ashrafeyah area to the east of Beirut, according to Lebanese LBC and Future TV stations.
A Lebanese security official confirmed that the explosion took place in the street which is visited by many on weekends because it is abundant with cafes and restaurants.
The explosion was in a car stationed on the street, according to the director general of the internal security forces Lt. Gen. Ashraf Reifi to the Lebanese al-Mustaqbal TV.
This explosion came hours after the visit of the US secretary of state Condaleezza Rice to Beirut.
