Information minister on new information law

Syria's Information Minister, Mehdi Dakhlallah has stressed that the new information law which is currently being prepared combines the various audio-visual, printed and electronic media that are expected to reflect the reality and aspirations of the people honestly and objectively.
In his lecture delivered to students of the Faculty of Information at Damascus University, Dakhlallah reviewed the difficulties that hinder the development of this issue, suggesting a package of proper steps including opening to the private sector.
