Farouq Hosni: 38 Islamic monuments to be open for the public next month

Egypt's Minister of Culture Farouq Hosni is to open next Sunday three ancient mosques after the end of their renovation within the framework of the national project for the Old Cairo.

Meanwhile, Under-Secretary of the Ministry Farouq Abdel Salam said the next two weeks would witness opening of 38 monuments after the completion of their restoration at a costs of LE 100 Million.

He said the monuments dating back to the Memeluke and Othoman eras would be ready soon to receive foreign and local tourists.
