Thousands demonstrate in Cairo against extension or inheritance of authority

The banned Muslim Brothers organization in Egypt has attracted other opposition groups, including the "Kefeyah" (enough) movement, to the largest demonstration against the Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on Wednesday in front of the headquarters of the Egyptian bar association in the downtown of Cairo.
Members of the Muslim Brothers raised Qur'an copies in the air while they were standing before a large picture for the late Egyptian President Jamal Abdul Nasser. The demonstration, which was called in support of the campaign, by judges who are campaigning for the independence of the judiciary branch, and was attended by 3000 persons most of whom are from the Muslim Brothers.
For the first time, slogans were chanted in the demonstration organized by Muslim Brothers on befalling Mubarak or inheriting the authority to his son Jamal.
The socialist leader Kamal Khalil chanted while standing beside the general guide for the Muslim Brothers, Muhammad Habib, "we are not slaves to anyone. We will not reject inheritance after today. We were born free and should live free." This slogan was repeated by hundreds of members of the Muslim Brothers group after him.
On the relation with the Muslim Brothers group, one of "Kefeyah" members said "we do not have the same ideology, but the two movements oppose the inheritance of the authority." The security forces cordoned the demonstrators completely, and no casualties were reported between the two sides..
