Some 20 Iraqis killed in various parts of Iraq

Some 20 Iraqis were killed in various incidents including 8 volunteers recruited in the Iraqi army, in a suicide attack at the center for recruitment in the center of Baghdad.

Sources in the Iraqi police said that 8 Iraqis were killed and other 29 injured when a suicide bomber killed himself with an explosive belt at the main gate of al-Muthanna airport in the downtown of Baghdad which the Iraqi army takes as a main center for recruitment.

In Karkouk, Iraqi security sources said that two civilians were injured in a booby trapped car explosion when one American vehicle was running in Touz Khourmato area. Near Sameraa, gunmen detonated one oil pipeline to the west of the city linking Beji and Doura oil refining station in Baghdad.

In Musil, police in the city announced it had arrested Imad Abdul Rahman and said he is the "prince (leader) of Saraya al-Mujahideen" group in Musil. Sources in al-Basra police said that Hussein Hamid the chairman of the local council was injured when gunmen opened fire at him in one of the city streets.
