Nazif discuss education, insurance and Greek investments

Egypt's Premier Ahmed Nazif Monday held three supervise meetings with a view to developing education sector, increasing efficiency of insurance services and boosting Greek investments in Egypt.

Cabinet's Spokesman Magdi Radi said Premier Nazif headed two days ago a meeting of Education Development Fund Board of directors.

During the meeting Nazif discussed the future plan for developing education through societal participation.

In the second meeting attended by Minister of Investment and head of Egyptian Insurance Supervisory Authority, Nazif discussed the measures of developing the insurance market in Egypt to cope with international developments.

Nazif also discussed with a delegation from Greek Piraeus Bank increasing the bank investments on Egyptian markets especially after the bank possessed 80% of the Egyptian Commercial Bank capital.

Following the meetings, head of Piraeus bank praised the latest developments witnessed by the Egyptian markets as well as the investment atmosphere.

He highlighted Greek businessmen interest in increasing their investments in Egypt.
