Riyadh calls for unity of Lebanese, Iraqis and Palestinians national unity

Saudi Arabia's cabinet yesterday expressed its hope that "all Lebanese national forces will maintain an agreement for preserving unity and solidarity and prosperity for the Lebanese people."
In its weekly meeting, chaired by Crown Prince Abdullah, the Saudi cabinet deplored that acts of violence continue to take place in Iraq and its consequences for Iraq's future and unity," demanding the Iraqi people to "stand hand by hand with the Iraqi government to isolate the extremists and rebuild Iraq and perpetuate its stability and security."
The Saudi cabinet also called on the "International community with all its official and civilian commissions to be aware of the Israeli oppressive practices against the Palestinian people and to shoulder their moral, humanitarian, and political responsibilities to this effect."
