Lebanon-Syria, Politics, 7/18/2005
Lebanese Premier-designate Fouad Sanyoura on Sunday meeting Maronite Patriarch Nasrullah Sfeir, hinted that he might not form a new cabinet if it can't win support of all parties. "In light of those developments, this stance will be an issue of consultation and understanding with the parliamentary bloc that I'm part of," Sanyoura said, adding that he has true desire to cooperate with Lebanese President Emile Lahoud.
He underlined the importance of Syrian-Lebanese relations, adding that "the Lebanese people are ready to fully cooperate with Syria and deal with all developments."
