Iraqi Sunni leaders call for vast participation in coming elections

Several Iraqi Sunni scholars and politicians called for vast participation in the next elections being an opportunity that allows for playing a greater political role in Iraq.
The call came in conclusion of the general conference for the Sunni which discussed plans of participation in the elections of the coming December 15, and the drafting of the constitution, in addition to reports which talked about of detention, killing and torturing of the Sunnis at the hands of the Iraqi ministry of the interior forces.
