US soldiers in Iraq killed in attacks near Jordan

In Sameraa to the north of Baghdad, two persons were killed and other three injured in violent clashes erupted in the streets of the city between the gunmen and the American army. Five persons were killed including to police members while other 41 were injured when a booby trapped car that blew up amid a convoy for forces of the Iraqi ministry of the interior in al-Baya area in the south west of Baghdad.

On the other hand, two Iraqi soldiers were killed and a third injured when one suicide bomber detonated himself at an inspection point for the army at the entrance of al-Sharqat city ( 300 km to the north of Baghdad).

One booby trapped car was detonated led by a suicide bomber near an American armored vehicle in the south east of Baghdad and this resulted in injuring two soldiers.

The American army admitted that two of its members were killed on Thursday in a bomb explosion near the border with Jordan. Al-Qaida organization in Mesopotamia claimed responsibility for these attacks.
