Suspected killer of Egyptian ambassador arrested

The US army in Iraq announced the detention of one persons suspected to be involved in kidnapping and killing of the head of the Egyptian diplomatic mission in Baghdad Eyhab al-Sharif. A military statement said the suspect, called Khamis Farhan Abd al-Fahdawi, known as Abu Sabaa, was arrested in al-Ramadi to the west of Baghdad on Saturday.
Worthy mentioning that al-Jihad Qaida organization in Iraq claimed responsibility for kidnapping and killing the Egyptian ambassador.
Al-Azhar Sheikh Muhammad Sayed Tantawi on Thursday said that the killing of the Egyptian envoy in Iraq is a heinous crime.
Meantime, al-Qaida organization confirmed that the American forces detained one of its officials in Baghdad but denied that Abu Abdul Aziz, the man who was arrested recently, to be "the Prince of Baghdad" as described by the chief of staff of the American forces Richard Meyers.
