Cooperation with Nile Basin countries

Improving cooperation among Nile Basin countries was the focus of yesterday's meeting between Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul -Gheit and the Egyptian, Ethiopian and Ugandan Ministers of Water, Mahmoud Abu Zeid, Shiferaw Jarso and Maria Mutagamba.
The meeting addressed how to best utilize the Nile waters for common prosperity, underscoring the importance of technology and expertise exchange. The potential of setting up an integrated database on the basin projects was also addressed.
