On the new Lebanese government
Lebanon, Politics, 7/12/2005

The designated Lebanese prime minister Foad Sanyoura continued his consultations to form the new Lebanese government, after Michael Aoun gave up his decision not to take part in the first Lebanese government after the Syrian withdrawal.

Aoun told journalists after the meeting on Saturday of the Free National trend, which he leads, that his decision to take part in the government comes after contacts he had made with the designated prime minister. He expressed his hope that this step will contribute to the acceleration of forming of this government.

This new development has come while the USA called on Sanyoura to form his government quickly and introduce forward vast reforms.
