Riyadh discloses suspect was arrested in Yemen, restores back 12 Saudis

Saudi Arabia's ministry of the interior said that one Yemeni citizen described in June as one of the main wanted is being detained in Yemen under another name, and that it received from the Yemeni authorities some 12 Saudi nationals.

In a statement, the ministry said that the so called Zeid Hassan Hamid whose name was listed within the 36 wanted detained in Yemen, noting that Hamid was held in his birth place under another name which is Zeid Hassan al-Jueidi.

The Saudi ministry of the interior gave no other details about Hamid, but indicated it had received some 12 Saudis who were arrested earlier in various issues. The ministry has not disclosed the identity of the Saudis, and the agency did not clarify if some of them were listed on the wanted list including 21 most-wanted living abroad.

Since the finalizing of the security in June 2003 between Riyadh and Sanaa, the two states exchanged scores of accused persons.
