Partial Italian withdrawal from Iraq

The Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi said that his country will start the withdrawal of 3,000 soldiers in the set date next September. He added in conclusion of the 8-G summit that Italy is one of a main target for what he described as Islamists extremists, for many reasons, including the deployment of its forces in Iraq.
