Attacks continued in Iraq

Medical and military sources reported that 8 persons including three gunmen were killed while the bodies of 6 persons were found killed by bullets to the head in Musil city to the north of Baghdad on Friday.
One American soldier was killed and other three injured in a bomb explosion to the north of Baghdad. One American military statement said that the soldier is from contingent 29th in Baghdad and its quarters.
In the course of confrontations, several members of the Iraqi army were injured while two military vehicles were attacked on the highway at the eastern entrance of Falluja city. On foot partol for the American and Iraqi forces were attacked to the east of Falluja.
The Iraqi ministry of the interior said that firemen put off a large fire erupted in the Doura refinery, which provides the capital Baghdad with fuel, following a mortar shell fall, noting that the fire resulted in no casualties.
