Zarqawi says he will continue fighting
Iraq, Politics, 7/7/2005
Leader of al-Qaida organization in Mesopotamia, Abu Musdab al-Zarqawi, rejected stances which call for making a distinction between resistance which target the Americans in Iraq and that targets the civilians.
In a voice recording on the Internet, al-Zarqawi stressed al-Qaida's determination to continue fighting, but without negotiations.
Al-Zarqawi said that his group formed a new armed wing to fight the Shiite militias of Bader contingent.
Al-Zarqaw's speech came while news reports were talking about the inclination within the armed groups in Iraq to negotiate with the Americans and the Iraqi government with the aim of merging them in the political process.
