Combating unemployment commission to finance new projects

'Combating Unemployment Commission' on Tuesday signed an agreement with the Industrial Bank for 1 billion S.P to develop small projects in Syria.

"The agreement will finance about 2 thousands small projects and provide about 4 thousands new work opportunities in line with a new work strategy the Commission will implement to launch developmental and economic projects in Syria," Director General of the Commission Khaled Bakri told SANA.

On his part, Director General of the Industrial Bank Ali Kanaan said the bank has till now signed a number of agreements totaling 4 billions S.P to encourage unemployed citizens to embark new jobs and decrease the number Syrian unemployed in general.

The number of signed agreements between the Industrial Bank and "Combating Unemployment Commission" cover small and family projects, expanding industrial facilities in addition to projects of solar energy.
