Lebanese parties unify stances
Lebanon, Politics, 7/6/2005
Lebanese Islamic and national parties and organizations on Tuesday showed a unified stance towards international challenges and pressures, rejecting, at the same time, foreign intervention in the Lebanese internal affairs. The parties, meeting in the Lebanese southern city of Tyre, underlined the importance of providing all capabilities and atmospheres to the national resistance as it is a power weapon in the face of Israeli plots.
They noted that the election of Nabih Berri as Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament comes within the context of supporting resistance and rejecting external pressure.
