Continued attacks in Iraq

Two Iraqi soldiers were killed and other 7 injured in a bomb explosion followed by fire exchange in Abu Ghreib area to the west of Baghdad..
Two sisters were killed in bombardment by mortar shelling to the north of al-Ramadi city in al-Anbar governorate to the west of Baghdad. The side which fired the mortars was not identified.
Also in al-Ramadi, armed clashes took place between gunmen and American and Iraqi joint forces but no information were reported on the volume of losses. Four Iraqi women working in Baghdad's International airport were killed together with the driver of their bus, while other three women were injured in an attack that targeted the bus in al-Amereyah area to the west of Baghdad on Tuesday morning.
Police sources said that gunmen were riding a car, attacked the bus, opened fire at it and fled.
In another attack, one explosive went off near the Iranian embassy in Baghdad and targeted a convoy for the American forces. Iraqi security sources said that the attack resulted in injuring one Iraqi and destroying of a military vehicle, but no casualties were inflected on the building of the embassy.
One American military base in Samera to the north of Iraq was exposed to an attack by mortars shelling on Tuesday morning. Police sources said the shelling missed the target and fell near the base and this resulted in killing a 13 year old child.
In al-Samawah city, explosions were heard yesterday at dawn near a camp for the Japanese forces in the city which is situated to the south of Iraq.
