Two armed groups in Baghdad appoint a spokesman, intend merging

The two groups of the Islamic Army in Iraq and al-Mujahideen Army said they have appointed one official spokesman for them.. A statement for the two groups issued on the internet said they had appointed Dr. Ibrahim Youssef al-Shummari as an official spokesman for them "in order to silence those who speak in the name of the Mujahideen," according to the statement.
