Yemen-Iraq, Politics, 7/2/2005
The Yemeni foreign minister Abu baker al-Qurabi on Friday announced that Yemen will within days appoint an ambassador in Baghdad. The Yemeni official news agency quoted al-Qurabi as saying that preparations are underway to appoint the first Yemeni ambassador in Baghdad since the fall of the former Iraqi regime in March 2003.
In a statement to "September 26" paper, al-Qurabi called on all Arab states to cooperate with the Iraqi government in order to fix the principles of security, stability and to work for ending the occupation of Iraq.
